The Crafting of Historical Knowledge conference will take place at the Kyle Morrow Room in the 3rd floor of Fondren Library.

Visitors and panelists attending the conference by car are recommended to park the Central Campus Garage. Panelists please  inform the conference committee that you are driving to conference at least one day prior to the conference so you can be provided a parking voucher to receive free parking. Visitors, parking at the Central Campus Garage $12 per day (cash or card at a kiosk). Visitor parking is also available at Greenbriar Lot for $3 per day (card only) and during weekdays you can catch either the Inner loop bus or the Greenbriar Bus to the Humanities Building stop.

For visitors and panelists arriving by Uber, Lyft, or other form of transportation we recommend for you to be dropped off in front of the Humanities Building (building 49 on the campus map).

As mentioned all panels will take place in the Kyle Morrow Room in Fondren Library. To access the room enter Fondren through the main entrance (facing Willy’s Statue, not Brochstein Pavilion) and take the elevators to the left of the entrance to the third floor. Once on the third floor please stop by the registration desk to sign in.

Friday night’s reception Will take place at the foyer and courtyard of the Humanities BuildingSaturday’s breakfast will take place in the foyer of the Humanities Building. Saturday lunch will be served outside the Kyle Morrow Room and guests are encouraged to take their lunch to Brochstein Pavilion (across the back exit of Fondren) where out door and in door seating is available.
